Meltetd filament covering heater block from heat brake?
I'm not sure what's going on here or how to resolve it. I was dealing with some under extrusion issues and did a cold pull, replaced the hot end ptfe tube, and removed/re-installed the nozzle. I no longer have an under extrusion issues, but I have melted filament coming out from the heat brake area and covering the heater block. Funnily enough, the prints are coming out perfectly except when the melted filament drips on it creating a blob...
I'd appreciate any insight on what I did wrong and how to resolve this.
Thank you!
You didn't properly assemble hotend (you have a gap between heatbreak and nozzle). See this.

This might seem pedantic but it will help you understand whats going on, it's heat break not heat brake, it prevents excessive heat being transmitted from the hot end to the extruder.
Thank you
@towlerg I appreciate the correction - thanks! @BogdanH, thank you very much, you were correct and now it seems to be fixed.
