Klipper on Mini+ - getting it dialled in
So here goes, a couple of weeks back I received my E3d revo micro which I installed on my Prusa Mini+ and all was good with the world, prints were of a much higher quality and I could go faster, then the thermistor died on that one, E3d sent me a new one, I installed it and everything seemed fine, then I decided to move to klipper, installation went well, the calibration prints all printed fine and all seemed good until I tried to print a benchy, typically what happened was it would get to the part where it starts to draw the box and the bridge then the extruder would struggle and start clicking and I'd have to cancel, I turned off both pressure advance & input shaper and can get it to print to the end but the quality is awful.
Printing on a Prusa Mini+ with E3d revo micro nozzle and bondtech IFS extruder running klipper with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.20mm layer height.
RE:
When I print an object with longer extrusions it comes out pretty good for a pretty default config file with both pressure advance & input shaper turned off. I'd worry it's the cooling fan but I can feel it blowing and hear it the same as ever when I check, also it prints a benchy fine in marlin.

Since you switched to Klipper, what is the run_current on your extruder motor? I ran into a similar issue while setting up My Trident and it turned out my setting was a bit too low. I was at 0.4 and bumping to 0.45 cleared it up. I have since also dropped microsteps from the default profile setting of 32 to 16. It's now strong enough that it snapped the filament when the spool snagged.

I emailed bondtech and they told me to remove gear ratio and set rotation distance as following:
Rotation_distance: 7.71
Hopefully this helps you out
