I saw a spark
Sighs... I think I did a poo-poo.
Was cleaning my nozzle with a wire brush, it was very dirty due to a failed print and... I saw a spark.
The printer shut down and it won't turn off so I am pretty sure I burned something...
Printer is pretty much new, it has a couple of weeks. I'm sure this is my own fault so I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else and what steps should I take?
Thanks in advance...

The heater wires are 24 volt,
the thermistor wires are ground and about 2 volts,
they don't play nicely when short circuited together.
you can heat the hot end, turn the power off, then use the brush, if you need to move more crap, reheat, then turn the power off and repeat the brushing...

Seems I can't edit the post?
I meant to say "the printer shut down and won't turn on"
RE: I saw a spark
I'm not sure exactly what fried but I'm guessing I'll need a new "Buddy"
First power off at the wall and check all the fuses.
Cheerio,

ITS ALIVE!
Thanks Diem! I checked the fuses. they seem fine.
I then checked my apartments circuit breakers and they also seemed fine but I switched them on and off nonetheless and then tried turning the printer on and it worked.
I'm very puzzled but it works and im very happy with that 😀
No more cleaning the nozzle with a wire brush with the printer on.
