Heatbed R1 (surface mount resistor?) missing! What is its value?
After replacing my heatbed thermistor due to an error (which is now fixed, printer working—yay!), I noticed that the R1 surface-mount component on the corner of the bed is missing! It probably got knocked off in the removal of the piece that covers the screws and heat wires where they attach to the bed. Maybe it has been gone a while, I dunno. I suspect maybe this is a resistor for current-limiting the LED on the heat bed which in my case is no longer lit. I have plenty of resistors I can solder here, but can anyone tell me what is the ohm value of R1 on the heatbed? Thanks!
RE:
this is a SMD resistor with a value of 2001, which means it's 2k Ohm.
Used to limit current for the red LED which indicates heating.
See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

RE:
To anyone who comes to this post, after cleaning the solder pads on the heatbed where R1 used to sit, I carefully bent the leads of a small 2.2k ohm resistor to put in its place. Flux and tinned pads were easy to solder to my resistor which looks huge here in the photo but is actually itself pretty small. SMD resistors are microscopic by comparison. And yet, even though my resistor seems to overwhelm the tiny LED, it works.
I have long used a replacement cap and a cable chain on the wires, so I did have to carve a bit of material out of the inside of this cover so as not to crush the resistor, but I now realize it has been a long time since I have seen the red LED working. I suspect I must have scraped R1 off the bed years ago during my cable chain mods. At this point, I am quite pleased with the result.
