display not showing remaining print time
my screen shows in military time what time my print will be finished, it used to say time remaining, how can i get this back?
RE: display not showing remaining print time
I’m having same issue. Not using on Octoprint. Just changed when I update my Prusa Mini+ to the recent firmware 4.4.1. It used to show time remaining but now shows the time it will be complete in 24 hour clock format. I’d like to change it back to the previous way of tell me how much time is left for the print in hours and minutes.
RE: display not showing remaining print time
Same for me, my mini used to show time remaining but now shows end time. I would really like to go back to time remaining, have checked all settings but found no way to do it.
RE: display not showing remaining print time
Switch off the WIFI and or the ETH connection. It should work. When connected to the network, the printer is chacking the network time and and calculates the print end time instead of remaining time.
even an old man can learn new things 🙂
Standard I3 mk3s, MMU2S, Prusa Enclosure, Fusion 360, PrusaSlicer, Windows 10
PRUSA MINI+ Prusalink + Prusa Connect

Another brilliant solution from Prusa.... Every time I want to see the remaining time, just turn off the network.
RE: display not showing remaining print time
If only end time was actually precise... Many times it skews few minutes anyway, due to various reasons. One of the most noticeable are:
- the fact that clock on the board is running slightly different than it should
- when printing faster than 100% speed, the displays adds question mark to the estimated time.
For me it is just like that - rough estimation, which usually tends to take more time than estimated. So I just look at the generated time from gcode file, add that I current clock time and it should be ok, if printing faster it usually means it will end faster ( but not always).
Disconnecting network to change displayed info is mind blowing feature 🤯

RE: display not showing remaining print time
I run my MK3S with Octoprint. The Octoprint is on a Raspberry Pi 4 running the Octoprint plugin PrintTimeGenius. My estimated finish time is almost never off by even 1 minute. Most of the time it is EXACTLY correct, even on long prints.
RE:
Good to know, another reason why to get rpi to the 3D printer.
But except that I'm really pleased by the fact that getting Prusa Mini allows to use it without any extra hardware.
Yet the more time passes and the more things I'm interested in, the more often I see the limitations of the onboard firmware. It is a good solid printer when starting the journey, but shows some limitations in the long run, as everything 😀

RE:
I run all printers with a Raspberry pi (3b and 4b) on that I run different gui's (Octoprint, Mainsail, Klipper, DWC). For Octoprint there are several plugins to display end time or time remaining. I use a modified form of "DisplayLayerProgress". DWC, Mainsail and Klipper can do this by default (without plugin).
