Black dust (I think) viewable in extruder inspection hatch
I have this Black dust visible when I open the extruder inspection hatch. I don't ...think... it's filament, but I could be wrong. I'm not sure what it is.
Does this indicate any kind of problem? Or is it normal?

It's filament, this is the problem with the mini extruder. I'd check your tension, when the filament is loaded, the tension screw should be flush when the filament is not loaded.

This is a common issue with the Prusa Mini, I'd recommend turning off retractions on prints with a lot of detail as the filament can become deformed if it is retracting very often. Hopefully they will change the design one day so the filament dust will fall out the bottom.
Until then, use a small brush to brush it out or some compressed air. Best of luck and happy printing!

Thank you
Ah! OK. I honestly didn't think it was filament as it looks nothing like the debris that my Ender 3 produces. But happy to know what it is.
Advice much appreciated, and I'll do as you suggest. Thank you.
