Can't access printables.com or app with chrome android
So I just tried to open the app and it tells me it needs a browser to work and the only option available is Samsung Internet. So I tried going through Chrome to the website instead and had to login again (as always 🤦) and it tried to make me open with Samsung Internet again! What's going on?

Same problem here.
Every time I try to open the app it tells me that I have to have Google Chrome installed, which of course I have and updated to the latest version.
I thought about reinstalling the printables app, but to my surprise it is no longer available in the play store.
But unlike you, it does let me open the website from an explorer window.
The truth is that the app wasn't much, since it had the same functions as the mobile website, I just wanted to access it faster and nothing more... but well, it's a shame, since I used it almost every day.
