PrusaLink without prusaconnect
Hello ,
would it be possible to use the prusalink, without starting prusaconnect ? in future or ? in other words at today we must remote the mk3 with prusaconnect 1st then after run prusalink , as only prusalink is able to receive the gcode files direct from the Slicer ?
thx

Hi, yes it is possible to run PrusaLink offline. But you cannot start PrusaConnect, PrusaConnect runs on servers rented by us. We start it, not you.
in future or ?
nonsense

no, you cannot link the MK3 with PrusaConnect and then start PrusaLink. You link the MK3 with PrusaConnect using PrusaLink. You might be referring to the local web interface which is inaccessible during the setup. The last step of the wizard allows you to not link with Connect and Settings contain an option to delete the connection details.

If PrusaLink is only able to receive gcode files from the Slicer, without using Connect, then you don't need Connect to send the files to PrusaLink (and your printer) as you can do it from the Slicer without using Connect, how does that push forward your previous argument/problem?
Please stop using this word scattershot type of posts, it is really hard to answer them for me. It aggravates me to try and deduce your point from these conflicning sentences.
RE: PrusaLink without prusaconnect
so I promise as soon as I return to Prague, because and yes I have already visited your wonderful city with its super clean in downtown and with beautiful cobblestones on the street and what a beautiful castle and what history!! So I promise I'll buy you one of the hundreds of beers , sure Jo is more than welcome 😉
Now some question may have nonsense for you but sometimes for other or customer they did have 1 ...because everyday I first open the window prusaconnect THEN prusalink so stupid yes but now i never test and that my way

Got it and agree with , i just open pruslink alone this morning work great
scattershot type of posts,
hum thx new word for me !! never hear .. 😉
Conflicting sentences euhh not really i try each time to ask my question differently to see different angle in my own logic , that maybe result of 10y in asia too ... 🤣
Then only 1 mast question hopefully it will be with sense 🧐 , will it be possible in future to use apps on windows to link mk3 😳 or bad idea !!
RE: PrusaLink without prusaconnect
There are no windows or smartphone apps planned, the upkeep on them would probably not be worth it for us. The workflow is different for the minis and the newer printers, I don't think an app is likely, but I might be wrong
