use mozilla , no headache all is saved

Every modern browser can remember passwords. That is not a solution. There are loads of reasons to want to be able to set a specific password that have nothing to do with typing in a long cryptic password on the same machine in the same browser day after day. Though, that is likely a significant concern for some users who may not be able to use a password manager for some reason.

Unfortunately i am not aware of a link that could be generated to auto-fill the username and password. Please prove me wrong. I am all for making this easier, but so far I don't know of an easy enough to implement solution. A custom login dialog seems like the only thing that would have a chance of working.

Using the current release of PrusaLink 0.72 I can use the following link to access the UI without a login prompt (one of the nice features of HTTP auth instead of forms):

http://administrator:[email protected]

This would also work when embedded in a QR code.

A partial workaround to get the password saved in Chrome: go to the password manager and add the URL and credentials manually. Not perfect since every session there will be a popup with the credentials asking you to click to log in, but at least better than having to copy and paste the password from a textfile every session.
