PrusaLink Case
I saw some early beta testers (when things were still being discussed on slack) had some new case for the rpi that looked really slick. I'm sure it was shared in slack. Wondering if that could be made available here for us new testers? I've added some photos of the case I'm talking about
I'm not sure if this is really useful right now. As far as I know, right now we can only test PrusaLink via the internal pin header connection, while the case on your pics would probably need some kind of external cable for connecting to the MK3S?
I'm not suggesting anything but
File /etc/Prusa-Link/prusa-link.ini
[printer] port=/dev/ttyACM0 baudrate=115200
Put whatever port you like there, as long as there is some sort of an MK3 on the other side, it should work, USB and everything.
Have a good one 😉
.ini file is where?
I just downloaded .5.2 (or whatever is current at the moment), and there is not a prusa-link.ini file anywhere on the file system.
There certainly is not an /etc/Prusa-Link
There is Prusa stuff in /home/pi, and I didn't put it there myself, so the download is correct.
Clues?

Okay, I am a knucklehead
Created that file, and it boots up. Raspberry Pi 4, USB.
Currently printing. Nice.

Sorry yea
Could have told you that, sorry. The last config system i employed did create files and folders, this one does not, but has other benefits. Soo yea, hopefully someday it will
me can't find folder
How to add folder and file? before or after boot?
Just add it
Whenever you feel like it, just restart prusa-link or the whole raspi afterwards for the changes to have a chance to load
RE: PrusaLink Case
Did you ever succeed finding an .stl for that case?

RE: PrusaLink Case
Added the new file/parms. Working on Pi3B too. Printer connected via USB.
RE: PrusaLink Case
Note: normal reboot via SSH does not work after adding the file presently (Pi3/4). use (sudo reboot --force --force) for beta.
RE: PrusaLink Case
So to confirm hack above sort of allows you to use a pi 4 via USB? My issue is that current case I have on my mk3s doesn't allow a zero on back and also the pins that came with it are a bit short, I can connect via wires to same pins, but a usb version would work best.

It is not "sort of", it works just fine via USB. Been using a Pi4 since my day one on this.

Looks great.
Maybe the dev team could add it to Prusa Link -> gcodes examples?
I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious
