Prusa Connect feature request - "Filament used" tracking
Hi, not sure if this should be here...
Request a feature to add a "filament used" details, so each print has a known path back to the original filament used. Detials such as
GLOBAL (database structure)
- Manufacture
- Model (either a part number of item like "Standard" or "Recycled")
- Color
- Size
- Type (PLA / PETG etc...)
Specific for use on each printer (pulled from an inventory added by the user)
- Date installed
- Batch / tracking number
Ive just had filament from a huge Canadian manufacture (not put name here, DM welcome) totally block my Mk4 nozzle (reddit forum members saw the same from the same batch), ive had to buy a new nozzle adapter and use new new nozzles (waiting for them to arrive). The above would make it VERY easy to see past history of when problems started to happen.
Many might not use this feature, but ive had 2-3 major issues that the above would of likely allowed me (with a lawyer) to claim money back from the filament manufacture.

Hi, I've heard talks about this the feature, it makes sense to have something like that. We've tried to do filament tracking in the past, but it was just too clunky. I'll ask about the progress and what can be shared. Thank you for the suggestion
