need help printer via ip address but not in connect
ok im a little confused , i can access the first printer i have connected via entering its ip address but when i go to prusa connect i thought i would be able to access all printers connected , although i have only one printer connnected im sure it appeared there before when i tested a few months ago using a rasberry pi3b (now using a zero) (same printer i connected before deleted it and now reconnected with zero could that be it) any help would be great
RE: need help printer via ip address but not in connect
because i deleted the printer in connect that used a pi 3b and then re used the same printer with a zero could that be the problem i hope that if you delete a printer you can still ad it back agiain thats all i can think off
RE: need help printer via ip address but not in connect
Yes you can add it back in, but you need to do the wizard thing again, deleting a printer name from prusa_printer_settings.ini should suffice. We know about the feature missing and it will be coming at some point. If you were planning on re-using the SD card, you could have left the printer registered tho, we do not tie the token to a pi, just the printer.
RE: need help printer via ip address but not in connect
not sure what you mean by wizzard thing , thats what i did after loading the zero and not in connect still ?.
RE: need help printer via ip address but not in connect
to be clear im running a print fine from prusa link but i cant get the printer back into prusa connect ?,
RE: need help printer via ip address but not in connect
now saying when im trying to add a second printer after entering the seriel theres an error in the service please try again later, about to give up for the day
RE:
Let's recap, so I know the state of things a little better. You have a printer which now is not registered in connect, you have clean flashed the SD for it, you have gone through the wizard and the registration did not appear to go through, so only local PrusaLink was present with something like this.
RE: need help printer via ip address but not in connect
yep it was not saying that error but just check and is now
RE:
Now you somehow erased the serial number from the printer, which is a completely different problem. This all seems a bit frantic. I'd recommend Discord for this kind of thing. It pings faster, this is sluggish as hell. I get e-mails about replies for god's sake. But push notifications have been invented for a loong time now.
Here's a link, if you're interested. https://discord.gg/3z6RDt6M - this would belong under #help_connect
