multiple printers, need names to differentiate on prusalink

I use the prusalink for mulitlpe printers. The system works fine, but I would like a way to name the printers in Prusalink so I can know which printer I'm sending info too.

Give them names via your dhcp server

Practically, no. Depends entirely on what router you have.

Basically you define a name for the printer and use that rather than it's ip address.

RE:

Yup, PrusaLink on the buddy platform is limited. You can still name your printers in PrusaSlicer or use Connect where your printers get names. The naming feature is on MK3 PrusaLink, kinda weird it never made it into the buddy one

Thanx,

I have named the printers as a saved web page, so I can open them and know which is which, but once they are open they all look the same. The wierd part is, there is a place where the page says "printer" so i thought there was some way to put a name in there

Yeah, the web part is the same for all the printers, so the MK3 functionality is leaking over a bit. Web is ready for having names, the printer is not sending them
