Feature: auto-clean delete Prusa Connect Files
Hey,
I recently run into the Issue that i couldn't upload print files though Prusa Connect because the Cloud Space was full.
Then I noticed that there where a decent amount of files saved, that wehre blocking the space.
Shouldn't those files be deleted after a successful download to the Printer?
Best Regards
RE: Feature: auto-clean delete Prusa Connect Files
I see PrusaConnect primarily as storage for files I want to use across multiple printers, so auto-deleting a file upon download would be a bad thing.
To send files to one printer only, it's better to configure that printer as a Physical Printer so you can directly upload the gcode file from Prusaslicer to that printer without going through PrusaConnect (see https://help.prusa3d.com/article/sending-g-codes-to-printer-via-network-prusa-connect-prusalink-octoprint_196761).
While I use PrusaConnect all the time to monitor prints, I only use its file storage for files I need to be able to send to multiple printers.

Thanks for that info, I didn't know that there was a difference - I just used Prusa Connect out of the box😅
RE: Feature: auto-clean delete Prusa Connect Files
I agree with this feature request. I want to be able to upload files to the Prusa Connect print queue and as part of that upload choose (have a checkbox in the upload dialog) if that file should remain in prusa connect files or be deleted after it is downloaded by the printer. I know you can also configure it to upload via prusa link to bypass the upload to connect but if I do that I am not able to add the gcode to the connect queue without going into the interface and doing so manually.
