Connect: Print queue, add gap in timeline
Hi everyone,
I’m currently using Prusa Connect, which is fantastic for preparing and managing upcoming prints. In my workflow, it’s essential that I’m present when a print finishes — so I can clear the bed and immediately start the next one.
The “Print Queue” tab provides a helpful timeline that lets me estimate when each print will complete. However, I’ve noticed there’s no built-in buffer or gap between scheduled prints. In reality, it often takes 5–15 minutes to remove the finished print, clean the bed, and load the next filament — time that isn’t accounted for in the schedule.
I’d love to see a global setting where I can define a default gap (in minutes) between prints, so the timeline automatically includes this buffer. Alternatively, a simple “Add Gap” button between any two queued prints would be incredibly useful for manual adjustments.
Does this sound like a valuable feature? Where’s the best place to submit this suggestion — GitHub, the Prusa forum, or another channel?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
Best regards,
Floh
