Bed level visualizer
Hi,
I would like to test Prusalink, but before I install it, I want to ask.
So far I use octoprint with plugin bed visualizer.
Is there such a possibility in Prusalink?
I use it for bed comparisons.
RE: Bed level visualizer
Hmm.
I use the bed level thingie once. It looked good, and never used it again.
Are you using it to look-see at each build plate? Or bed comparison between printers?
Donât trust forum advice.
RE: Bed level visualizer
I use it on new steel sheet and as a check that the Z axis is parallel to the bed. Over time, stepper motors always turn a little against each other.I wrote the beginning of the G-code so that every time I print, the values are displayed in the plugin so that I can see that the X-axis is parallel and the pad is straight.
RE:
I'd like to see a visualizer as well, or at least the data points in a grid - it's a handy tool to be able to check the mesh data if things start going wrong
RE: Bed level visualizer
A bed visualiser would be a much appreciated addition, it's the only single reason I still keep my old Pi4 floating about.
Thanks
RE: Bed level visualizer
I have started using Connect and I like it. The bed level visualizer plugin in Octoprint is why I still have the Octoprint microsd card next to the printer. Also for cotolapse stuff.
RE: Bed level visualizer
Good news, support for bed visualization should be coming next release, whenever that is. 0.7.0 should be sending the necessary data.
RE: Bed level visualizer
Great news @Tojik 😀
