Utility to report the overall dimensions for a batch of stl files?
I have a rather large project I want to print (114 individual parts). Luckily I have only test printed the first part when I decided to begin spot checking some of the other files for their overall dimensions. Low and behold, the third part in the set requires a print bed of 190mm. I will have to scale the project, but I will need to find the largest part out of all the files to determine the scaling factor. Opening and inspecting 114 files does not sound like fun.
Is there a utility that can be fed a batch of files and generate a report of all the overall part dimensions?

Any possibility to angel the part on the diagonal?

Yes, that is possible for the one or two parts I've found in the group so far. It still leaves me with close to 100 files to look through to know whether or not I need to scale the whole project, and still leaves me with the need for a utility that could list the dimensions of each part file. It would make this and any future projects quicker.

While I would still like a command line utility for gathering the overall dimensions of a batch of stl files, I have found an acceptable workaround.
I realized that blender will allow you to multi-select files when importing. In this way, I was able to load all 100+ files as separate objects and then look through them quickly enough.

Indeed it did turn out that by rotating the offending parts, they will fit on the plate without scaling. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just did a quick google, but didn't find any ready solutions.
There were some posts on stackoverflow but i'm not a coder so not much help.

I don't know of any utility to do it, however if you dropped all of the STLs at once into prusa slicer they should all render on the center of the build plate, then you could drag out the large ones to identify which they are.
