In complete fairness though, even though they did a lot of testing on the original design, Until you get a large enough samplegroup they had no idea that those issues would exist. Had it been perfect the first go around Most original pre-orders would be filled by now. I am actually pretty glad that they found the issues, and are resolving them FIRST rather than shipping out units and Then sending out an email that says, "Hey, print these parts and replace them, also hey we will send you a new screen IF yours has issues" Instead they are just stopping, resolving the issue and sending out a better product.

I am actually glad they halted shipping to fix identified problems, It may be 3-4 months after I expected shipment, but I'll take a product that has the majority of its issues fixed before I get it.

Well if the new shipping table is accurate then my printer should ship in 7-10 days. Fingers crossed 🙂

Yeah it looks like they updated the ship table again today, pushing everything back a week further than they had before. So who knows. I am not in a hurry to get mine.

I hope it is right.  People have waited too long already, but I am certain the wait will be worth it.

My Oct 13th order still has not been shipped. So I contacted Prusa today who told me that orders were going out at different times depending on factors such as colour, filament sensor, number of bed, etc.

So mine should ship tomorrow or Weds.. To be honest, I believe this more of a generic answer but will give them the benifit of the doubt.

I am just glad we will all get better printers with less problems now that hopefully they have worked out most of the bugs,  I think getting a better printer makes the wait worth it.

On the bright side, for all like myself who were expecting to take advantage of the Christmas holidays in order to explore the printer,  the Easter break is just around the corner

Pretty much spring break, I think.. we celebrate it as the rebirth of jesus I think. So we give out chocolate eggs... makes total sense! We arnt crazy I swear 😅

The giant bunny that gives out the eggs doesn't think we're crazy. It's the car sales that he's trying to figure out.
