RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

@charles-h13

What do you mean "if I feel that strongly"? I just said the whole delay and quality issues situation is a minor inconvenience, so obviously not something I would cancel my pre-order about.

@kristoffertell

I completely disagree.  My whole point has been if you feel that strongly, you should cancel your order and send a message.  Complaining on the forum is not an effective means to send a message.  The forums are not controlled or users as a thermometer by Prusa employees.

Coming from the guy that bitched the entire mk3 release... shall we go back and find your posts during that time?

Age builds experience.  No need.  I have learned.  The point is don’t waste you energy on the forum.  You are just upsetting yourself.  No one here can help you.

I was specifically referring to folks who complain day in and day out.  Complain on the chat, by email, or cancel you order.  Complaining on the forum does not good by raise your blood pressure.

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

I might have come off as too abrasive.  I trend to be a little blunt.  In the past, I have found the forum got me anxious and irritated as delays and problems occurs with the new printers.  I am 100% certain that the posts on this forum contributed to that.  I have also had several conversations with them chat support and email support.  It is clear that Prusa does not use this a primary means to measure success of their products.  I have since change my approach to keep my own concerns in check.

I think a better means to complain is: 1. Chat, 2. Email, and 3. Cancel you orders.  If you are unwilling to do number 3, you can’t be that upset.

My experience with my 3 other printers to include my Ender have taught me that the grass is not greener on the other side fo the fence.

Yes, I have complained in the past and I too will try to change.

how about let people vent how ever they want to? This is a forum for Prusa related stuff. You trying to dictate what that stuff is doesn't help. Nowhere does it say that people aren't allowed to voice their opinion here. People trying to shit on their opinion is what fans the flame. You were allowed to say your piece, so others should be allowed to say theirs.

I don’t care if people vent.  Vent away, but based on my experience, you are wasting your time.

As this is my first 3D printer I am very impatient, too. I understand the negative vibes of this release and would really like prusa to listen and maybe make a statement. Despite that bitter taste I am still really looking forward to receive my mini, especially after the overwhelmingly postive reviews regarding print quality.

20th Oct doesn't make much sense either. I would take the spreadsheet with a bag of salt. One data point may well be an error, I'm just looking for the general trend. I'm not seeing any continuation of shipping for orders on the 13th Oct.

Haters are always going to hate, pity they have to disrupt this thread so much. Could they start their own thread for moaning, so we can more easily ignore them?

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

Please - I read the Prusa-Forum for a long time and I like it and the people helping and sharing their experience - I understand, that many people hate waiting for their Mini, and also don´t understand, why there are some quality and functional issues with that new printer.

But please don´t start to discuss on a too personal level (don´t post in a hurtful way - calm down).

Best regards,
Clemens Mödlin

@hawwwran

Yeah some troll marked all entries as "Delivered" and then deleted all of it.

I just copied an old version back from the document history so it should be ok again now.

@eric-c17

I dont mind people griping

 But when people start insulting each other and using coarse language. I either edit  the posts or delete them.

So a couple of days ago. I deleted two posts on this thread...

But i leave comments in general alone.

If i see a trend. I alert the Prusa  admins and  ask them to address The situation.

This thread is probably the longest thread on the forum. Its about 700 posts long.

So two out of 700 posts is not a high level of censoring.

I am dissappointed to learn that someone has destroyed the spreadsheet that was frequently referred to on this thread.

As i don't have a mini order. I have never visited the spreadsheet. If memory serves me well it was on a google site. I wonder if its possible identify who the culprit is?.

The loss of the spreadsheet has undermined the discussion on this thread to a degree.

Please dont get despondent.  And please continue to keep the posts civil

I am sure  The deliveries will start again soon.

Regards Joan...
