RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

I am sure it will.   One way or another.

From what I'm reading, the biggest casualty will be quick and predictable shipment times. Border delays seem to be the biggest long-term headache. Long-term the worst is, hopefully, a notification to customers "in the affected areas" that shipments may take longer.

@bobstro

...not to mention the lost UK jobs from businesses that have been advised to relocate parts of their operation to the EU to avoid the delays and costs.

Welcome to Brexit!

Advised by who I wonder?

I suspect one free of some of the more ridiculous regulations, business will flourish. And lets not forget that the unelected governance of the EEC makes N.Korea look like a democracy.

The Utopian promise has failed to deliver. There is more blame to spread than just putting this all on BREXIT

Ordered on black friday and just got my notification that it's been shipped out!

Fedex estimates delivery to be on 1 Feb, can't wait for it to come!

@jon-chua

May I ask you were do you live? My delivery is being handled by local Czech company Packeta who will then hand it over to PostNord Finland, but nothing has happened for over a week after I got the first notification about shipping out.

@speedymac

I'm located in Singapore.

Will give you updates if fedex updates their tracking, currently it's stated that they received the tracking information.

Thank you! Same here - tracking information was received, then nothing. I know it's a first world problem, but after two months I don't want to wait any longer. 😀

I was in touch with the customer service regarding my shipment, and they said that the carrier (Packeta) mixed up the order. They will send a replacement, this time using DHL. I'm annoyed by the delay but appreciate the quick response from customer service which is one of the reasons I chose Prusa in the first place.

Brexit issues have been sorted, I just ordered one from the UK. Happy times, now just the 8 week wait 🤨

@jon-chua

Wohoo! Congrats. I think you’ll beat me to it but I guess waiting for an extra week doesn’t really make a difference after waiting for two months... 😅

Interesting that the shipping FAQ hasn't been updated since Jan 20
