RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
I’m in the top five oldest 14Oct orders that hasn’t been shipped.... with about 50% shipped, I was in the first 10%...

Two weeks ago (seeing that weeks will pass till the printer arrives me) I decided to built my own Prusa clone. I have a lot of parts for the printer at home as my Prusa i3 MK2S evolved to a MK2.5S - so I ordered a few parts - last package arrived today. Will see if my clone if finished before the MINI arrives.
(Hope dies last - but it dies 😉 )
Best regards, Clemens Mödlin

Well PRUSA is Great! 2 hours after I received the mini the missing feet arrived in a separate package! So now I can put them on and print!
As for firmware should I use the 4.0.1 or the RC firmware?
Here are some pics and the printout from the printer tests they did:

@k9bub
Congratulations on getting the printer.
I would use 4.01 to make sure the printer is working right on the released firmware.
That way if something goes wrong with the rc version, like the hot end trying to burrow to the center of the earth, you are in a bit better position with support.
Once you know it is printing perfectly then you can try the rc version.

Prusa-Research-Time? Is that a special timezone with broken time-space continuum, where time flows differently than everywhere else in the world, and each week gets delayed by another week? 😆

Listen guys, they're working so hard they're over-drawing the primary grid feed off Betelgeuse. If they push too hard, things might go bad.

That was missleading right? 😀
I have come here to chew bubblegum and perfect my MINI ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
There were eight orders marked as shipped in our spreadsheet yesterday.

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
First post for me, but with a nice update. My mini shipped today this morning. A 14th oct order with some extra spools of filament that I added.
Should arrive on friday.

@crawlerin
You should not post that. You are violating the prime directive.

Good to hear Prusa is pushing the limit to get those printers shipped... I was wondering what was causing Betelgeuse to dim like that... 😉

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
Hello,
I ordered my Mini on the 12th of Octobre 2019. My Mini arrived Friday the 7th of February 2020.
After assembling it together I did the firmware update from the USB-Key and started some testprints. The included Prusa-Filament clogged the nozzle after my first print.
I had no clogged nozzle on my MK3S with the 0,4 NozzleX from e3d (UK) for more than one year and my MK3S is running 247.
The testprints with original 0,4 Nozzle are great (from USB-Key).
In PrusaSlicer 2.1.1 (newest Version now) I can´t include my Mini because it isn´t available. I´ve ordered a NozzleX for the Mini (0,25). I can not test it, because i can not slice for the Mini. The technical support couldn´t help. They told i have to install a Beta Version. But I can´t because my MK3S must run stable. I use it for work at school with children. I won´t do experiments with Beta-Software.
Now i have the Mini but i can´t use it. I hope Prusa will release a newer Prusa-Slicer soon (no Beta).
bye
Alex

I know we've been waiting for the Prusa Mini for a while, but this is ridiculous (see last post date)

@billplein
LOL, I've noticed a couple of posts that have date issues... Probably a Earth-time to Prusa-time translation error.

@frankincell
Prusa is so far ahead of everyone else, that in comparison, things just look that old.

LOL. Yup that is a date issue. I ordered when I was 2?

I am guessing it's a UNIX Epoch time measurement, and some bad database record has a null time and it was handled as zero ... aka Jan 1 1970.
