I really miss the old forums way of presenting new posts.  It is very difficult to find new posts with unanswered questions.  Perhaps I am missing something obvious, but Recent Posts isn't helping.

There's a dropdown on the top right of the 'recent posts' page with more options, like unread, unsolved, etc...

Knew I must be missing something obvious. Thank you for pointing it out.

Magnifying glass ... but it is quite useless for finding relevant topics (imo).

Notification of new posts made in a subscribed thread is missing.

Notification of new posts made in a thread I was active in is missing.

Indication of a new thread is missing.
Indication of an old thread with new content is missing.
Indication of an old thread with no new content is missing.

Honestly, I can't keep track of even 10 threads where it can take days for replies and feedback. And checking each and every one of the 72 and counting PAGES of threads in my Activity List to see if there is new information is not an option.

With the increased awareness of the forum and less peer to peer help ... the direction the forum is heading is not promising.

I am trying to stay positive, but this forum upgrade is less than successful thus far.  Too many bugs and it is too hard to find the threads you want to find.

Yes I see the Magnifying Lens. You have to log in to in to use it. However I entered "Z hop" and it came back with basically an outline of the forum subjects, some of which were in Polish. Hit on them and nothing happens. Grrrrrr.

I needed to search for something and I did find it.  That is I found it after having to search through all the languages to find the English forum then search for the specific forum I thought the answer might be in. I guessed right but what a PIA!

Overall the site has improved to where it is marginally usable.  Still too much white space for instance and having some things pinned to the top like the old forum would be really good.

I miss the Private Messages feature in the last forum. Sending PM's have their user-user purposes, and is also handy to ask moderators to help correct errors, omissions, and mistakes.

SEARCH is extremely broken.

Selecting ALL English forums, search for tim.m30, and I get nothing.

I see two major issues which need to be fixed:

1. Image include is working fine. But included images are stretched based on the window size. For a support forum which is based on images is kind of deal breaker.

2. Allowed edit time need to be adjusted. It feels like after two minutes you're not allowed to edit your post.

Wow, no PM's!  That's terrible.  Sometimes we need to exchange physical addresses, for example to mail spare parts.  BRING BACK PM'S!!!

Also, I'm bothered that I get signed out of this forum apparently based on time of inactivity.  I used to leave the old forum open as a tab on my browser "forever" and never needed to re-sign in.

When I go to the front page of the forum: https://forum.prusa3d.com/

And press "My  profile" I don't see my profile, but someone else. I can't see any private data though, so that's good.

When I'm in a thread and press "My Profile" the link works correctly.

Just tried the same and I am seeing my profile. Are you seeing their name and posting history or just a blank profile?

The history of questions answered does not seem to have been migrated, but I'm not sure that's even a thing in the new software.

I'd like to reiterate my request to fix the page titles to actually show more than "Forum |".

Right now it's a royal PITA to find something in your history (or if you bookmarked a page) .... all you see is pages of "Forum |" and you have to guess by looking at the URL

I just see what you would see if you open their profile. Right now I see this one:

Yesterday it was another profile.

I'll add my voice to the chorus of dislike.

I finally made my first post since the forum change.  It happened to include a image, as many posts on here do.  I find I can either have the image show as a significantly reduced version of itself with no apparent way to view the full image or have the image aspect squashed, again, with no way to actually view the original.

It's almost like no one involved in picking the new forum software actually participated in the old forum on a frequent basis.  I can't understand how anyone who was a regular forum user, or moderator, would accept the new forum as anything close to functionally equivalent.

I am unable to cut & paste blocks of text in the editor. Cut only removes 1 trailing character. Maddening.

I will second that. Usability has suffered as a consequence of this upgrade. It is very cumbersome to identify threads where I have participated or have even subscribed. No indication of "unread posts" whatsoever.

I would not be surprised if participation in the forums went down after the upgrade.

And I was doubting my mental condition when I saw someone else's profile... Apparently, I am no alone. Glad to hear it.
