Bump:

Default Image upload to Linked to Media File -- new users just aren't getting this feature.

Clicking Unsubscribe in Profile Subscription List should return the user to Profile Subscription List.

Time to Edit should be greater than whatever it is today. At least 2x as long.

So I just posted - got a phone call - and realized a spelling foo-pah.  Went to fix it and out of time.  Prusa: I think I am going to start having an opinion that is less than helpful for your sales until you get these forum issues fixed.

A search feature in the forum would really help, trying to find additional info on Filament Sensor Error during Wizard run.

Turns out the forum will NOT advance pages (even though it indicates it is changing pages) - but this occurs when a user is not logged in. When logged in, it works as expected (in most forums, but not all).

Anyway - pretty sure the Prusa team has run out of quarters to feed the WordPress.  They need to wait for next months allowance to do any more work fixing roadblocks.

Private message notifications seem to have gone a bit wonky in the last week.

  • I'm not consistently getting emails to notify me of new messages.
  • If I refresh the main forum page I don't get the "You have X new Private Messages" bubble, but then it pops up when I descend into a sub-forum or into a thread.

I really wish we could edit posts. Doesn't make sense to take this away -- the end result is having posts around that are no longer relevant or plain incorrect. I just posted something and forgot to mention the type of filament I was using, which makes the question less useful. I have no way of correcting the issue without someone reading through the entire thread.

And for those who actually read these - lack of activity doesn't mean people are happy. Instead, it really means people are tired of asking Prusa to fix things.

I feel stupid, but I cannot find the "search" button...

Click on the big magnifying glass at the top and search for search.

Kidding aside: It's not obvious for some reason, even as big as it is.

Worse, after clicking the small magnifying glass, you then need to search for the search textbox... highlighted here:

RE: Welcome to our new forum! Feedback here!

If you are like me, you get impatient with the POST to anything happening delay and leave the thread or click the button again thinking you hadn't already clicked it because all the animations time out and the page never auto-refreshes.

This forum is something I'd expect to be the result of a company trying to dissuade customers rather than expecting it to be helpful.  I often wonder what would happen if the few users with real diagnostic skills stopped posting; how that would impact Prusa CHAT.  Would people finally get fed up with Prusa and start buying something else?  Or are people who buy Prusa just masochists by nature?

Please, please - give us a way to set notification preferences.

My EMail is getting flooded with subscription notifications. And no way to unsubscribe a block at a time.

Maybe one EMail summary a week covering all subscriptions...
