Small public library considering a mini or mini +

Hi All...

Our small public library is considering buying a mini or mini + Prusa for our makerspace.

What would you recommend?

What have you found to be the key differences between the mini -vs- mini+?

Thank you.

The link @Diem pasted may not really answer your specific question, though.

If you want to choose between Mini and Mini+ then just get Mini+.

Mini can be upgraded with  https://www.prusa3d.com/product/original-prusa-mini-to-mini-upgrade-kit/ so it becomes Mini+. pure Mini is no longer available in official Prusa Store - they were upgraded, so the upgrade kit is for older printers.

Also get preassembled versions, it saves a lot of time.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

AFAIK the only difference is the sensor, which is much better on the Mini+, so if you're buying used, definitely either get a Mini+ or be prepared to buy the mentioned upgrade kit. As somebody who just got gifted a Mini+, I can confidently say it's a great choice for a public library, since it just works right out of the box and is extremely user-friendly.
