Prusa Mini now needs further slowed from usual.
Ok, didnt see anything that QUITE touched on this, hoping someone has some insight. I have a PMini, Bondtech Ext. Slice Hotend... works flawlessly (now) I finally got dialed in with PETG and I print a sample of something I sell, but just 60% of the size, hand them out, etc.
I have been printing this file for months, and I tend to like the finish of it when run at 50% once the purge line and first layer begin. Just recently I discovered that im still on FW 6.1.2....but I now have to go to 30% to even get travel speed close to where it was,... its like the only thing slowing is the print speed now when I slow it,. And the travel is causing it to almost chip up the layers as it goes.. i can hear it contacting the print as It goes. Only just now did I see that Im not running the current firmware,.. but Im scared to update, as Monday, I have a print to run for a customer for an Etsy sale I have been waiting on a color of filament 3 days to get, and dunno If I wanna risk any additional issues from the update. (That'd be my luck)
I did go thru my USB drive and take off some single use prints that had piled up thinking maybe it needed space on the thumb drive to decompress,, idk... Ender 3s used to do weird stuff like that back in the day. Thank you guys in advance.
