Printer based filament settings
Hello Dear Friends.
I was wondering if there is any way to make it so that the printer remembers the filament settings on a filament change. I don't just mean PLA/ABS/PETG options which come up with doing a change. I mean something like:
PLA - ESUN Yellow (210/60)
PLA - 3DQF Orange (205/60)
PLA - Prusa Red (210/60)
Then it would be amazing if the temp settings (and even flow!) for sliced files were simply overwritten for each filament type. I find myself doing quite a lot of filament changes. This would help.
Maybe it already exists?
RE: Printer based filament settings
Not sure if this is the easiest way but if you select a similar filament, click on the "Save current filament setting", you'll be offered an option to change the name of the filament then save it. In you case "PLA - ESUN Yellow (210/60)". The new filament should appear in "User Presets".
RE: Printer based filament settings
No it doesn't exist in firmware so you could choose at loading time. As towlerg suggested, best option is to save presets in Prusaslicer.
