Possibility that the mini gets an all new full metal hotend with load cell
As all new prusa printers are getting the new hotend with a loadcell, what do you guess:
Will there be an updated Prusa Mini with an all new full metal hotend and also getting the nozzel with a load cell in near future? And the bigger question for me: Will there be an upgrade for the current Mini+ to get a new hotend.
I know, this is all just speculation, but it would be very interesting what you thinking about this. What can cause problems on such an upgrade? Let's start a diskussion. 🙂
RE: Possibility that the mini gets an all new full metal hotend with load cell
I would upgrade in a heartbeat if something like that was available.
I don't think it will be a Nextruder (at least as we know it) due to mass, but a Bowden version with loadcell and Nextruder nozzle? Not unlikely, but not necessarily probable.

Yes you are right. Maybe a split variant of the nextruder. I think the most important thing is, that they do not use a hotend with an PTFE tube at all in the next version of the Mini. This seems to be the part with the most issues.
