The Original Prusa MINI starts production at the end of November. However, as expected there is already a massive queue, so only a limited amount of orders is expected to be shipped in December (buffer of orders from the announcement day only), most orders in January and February 2020, expect some lead times. New orders to be shipped in March 2020.

I suspect that is a realist time frame, but I do not believe everything I read on Facebook.

Sounds like they are only going to ship everything from the first day this year and the rest in 2020.

This update is quite a change. I was hoping to get it by Christmas. Now it more looks like end of January. ☹️ Ordered on day 3.

I ordered the 14th, I knew I should have just went with the Mk3s. I've been through this rodeo before with the Mk2 when it first came out. The backorder for that ended up being 3-4 months long.

Ordered on the 14th, looks like a no show for Christmas 🙁

Pretty bummed out actually, there were some strong words during the release weekend from Josef regarding their awesome preparations, not much of that left now...

Have no experience with Prusa since before, the Mini would be my first but first impressions are not super.

I'm a 13th order and it is my first printer.

I was about to buy a MK3S when they announced the Mini, so i ordered a Mini instead.

Just so Prusa know, i would happily receive a MK3S instead of my Mini, if it helps 🤣 🤣 🤣

I bet if you contact support and give them more money, PR would gladly send you a MK3s.    😊

Same here! At least I have another 3D printer to tide me over until it arrives, but some days I think "I should've just spent the extra money for the MK3S and I would have already had it".. but I'll hold strong - it'll be January before we know it! 😅

You have an early mini you could probably sell it for enough to buy a MK3.
