Higher level warping?

I printed a large (almost full bed size) print that was only about an inch tall, and the print has subtle but noticeable bending, for lack of a better word, especially for PLA. Photos attached. Any ideas?

Check for anything loose. X and Y axis belt gear grub screws is what I would check first. Mine were completely loose and caused something similar.

RE: Higher level warping?

What you see, is to my knowledge, caused by filament shrinkage.

I saw this often when printing ABS (shrinkage 2-5%) - The effect was that model side walls bend inwards.

At the bottom the build plate holds the print and prevents the shrinkage, at the middle the layers is compressed when a new layer cools down and on the top the layers is not compressed by cooling layers above.
It looks like the model is getting smaller just above the build plate and again larger at the top.

Try printing with a filament with less shrinkage.

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉
