extrusion problems
I know this topic is out there and I have done some looking around already but before I do some of the things I have read about I want to make sure it is the right thing to do.
So...I set up my prusa mini+ a week ago an am using Hatchbox PLA.
Got the first layer calibration done and looking great.
Printed the Prusa logo as a test print and turned out beautifully.
Printed two benchy models, both of which turned out beautifully as well.
Printed a model I made to test screw bosses and that too turned out beautifully.
I then went to print a full print of a project I'm working on and did NOT print beautifully.
The PLA was not being pushed through. I had to heat the hotend up to extract it, reinserted it and purged it.
I then ran a purge at the PLA setting and was coming out just fine.
Then I tried another print and again the PLA was not coming out.
Additional attempt had the same issue. a little better but the PLA came out in globs and not clean.
I found this post about adjusting the hotend height
https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/avoiding-early-prusa-mini-issues-common-issues/
and looks easy enough to do.
and this Youtube video from the same post -
Just want to know if this is the right thing todo or is there another fix?
