Extruder motor on a Prusa Mini is too hot to handle. Is it a difficulty?
Is this typical? Even if it's not nozzle-hot, the temperature is too high to hold firmly for longer than 5 or 10 seconds. Additionally, there aren't many retractions or other quick movements; it merely draws straight lines.
While projected to be warm, none of the other motors are truly hot.
The printer appears to be operating flawlessly, including extrusion.

There are times when mine has been very hot; I don't know for sure, but I think mine is now running cooler.
The only thing that has changed is my having taken the extruder assembly apart for cleaning etc. And to muck about trying to eliminate gear lash. What I think might be happening is that things have been assembled too tightly (probably the pinion on the motor pressing too hard against the extruder gear) - and that is what is causing the overheating.
