RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
No no, it's an official firmware, try to download again and save in another usb stick
RE:
Thanks, I couldn't find it so I thought I had to compile it from Github. I'll go back and look again.
I still don't see where to download the binary for 4.4.0 beta. Can someone send a link?
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
I found the binaries. They are in the assets list at the bottom of the README on the Github repository.
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
I have got everything working now but with a few hickups. One thing i found is that all the wiring needs to be clear of the WiFi module in order to connect to the netwerk. Second, during a print You get the message that the fan is not spinning (warning). Through the weblink you can resume print and it continues but this is something that needs to be checked I guess.
Great work ! Engineers @ Prusa!
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
For wiring i have no problem, wi fi module live in the box with all cable around it and no problem with my wi fi. The fan error is a bug of alpha firmware, disable fan check in hardware settings and everything work well
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
Thanks, I've changed the Fan check setting.
RE:
So far, everything work nicely with the new beta firmware. However, for the first time today, I had a weird bug during a change of filament. It started at the "Was filament unload successful?" question, and it ended at the question where it ask you if the color is okay. This is not a camera VS lcd screen artifact/refresh rate issue, the screen was legit blinking like this.

Hi,
That's a bug already reported on the GitHub.

RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
Bonjour, j'ai essayer de mettre le firmware 4.4.0 sur ma prusa mini+ mais cela ne fonctionne pas, sa me remet le 4.3.4
quelqu'un peut m'aider.
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
yes but i use 2 pins hotends fans in 5v by e3d , don't know how to fix it
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
Installed bootloader & firmware few days ago.
+ No issues with flashing.
+ All tests passed.
- ESP does not connect to the WiFi. The ESP itself is good - tested with Arduino.
- Random "Print fan not spinning" error (though both fans are working with no issues).
Reverted back to 4.3.4 and will wait for next release.
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
P.S. Restoring the firmware resets printer statistics. Make a picture before if you care about those.

RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
Bonjour, avec le firmware 4.4 .0 peut ton remplacé l'esp01 par un cabke rj45 relié a la fibre
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
on filament change my screen flashes when choosing new type of filament with 4.4.0B2
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
Yes, it's a bug
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
There are actually a couple new bugs.
* Unload + load filament screen, where you have to click load filament twice, first time it just flashes the screen nothing happens. This one is re-creatable every time.
* While copying a file to my mini+ via wi-fi, it corrupted the USB stick (the one that comes with the Prusa). Had to reformat, no big deal. Happened only once so far, been copying lots of files.
* Got an "Out of memory" error yesterday when starting a print, had to reboot prusa mini+
Otherwise I do love the wi-fi module, copying files is SO slow though
And no ability to view/create folders on the USB storage.
And it would be nice if they add ability to adjust the speed/temp directly from the webpage.

I still can't find the files without compiling them. Could you please send direct link? Thank you

Its the github link on the 1st page, just follow link and scroll to the bottom, its the two .bbf files.
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
I've noticed two oddities with the firmware:
1. I get a flashing screen during filament changes. The screen still functions, but it goes on and off. I have a video, but I'm not sure how I can attach it
2. I kept getting thermal runway errors with a Revo Micro Hot End. The heat cartridge showed a resistance of 15.2 ohms (which is more than what's mentioned on the help page, but within spec according to E3d. I had another cartridge that showed 14.7 and switched that in, and it was fine after that, but is the firmware freaking out due to the 15.2? Is that something that can be adjusted higher (up to 17 according to E3d?)
