WeiFi - Filament Weighting Holder with NFC
Hi,
I would like to present you my biggest project yet. Filament holder, which weights your spools, while registering them with NFC.
May be, a little bit late to the party with OpenPrintTag but this was in cooking for a while, aka it took me a while to write it up 🙂

In summary, the holder hides a load cell and NFC reader. There are no information stored in the NFC tag as it all work based on Spoolman. All the electronics and software runs independent of the printer. Firmware is done using ESPhome and it is all integrated via HomeAssistant. The HA might be an extra hoop, but it made it relatively simple to set up. I will convert the yamls to blueprints... eventually 😀
