Synbotron PEBA
Just got my shipment of the Kickstarter Synbotron PEBA. I've attached their print setting suggestions. Anyone actually tried this? Any recommended tricks?
PEBA Filament: The Next-Gen of Flexible 3D Printing Material
RE: Synbotron PEBA
A reputable manufacturer like Fillamentum recommends printing speeds from 20 to a maximum of 40mm/s for their PEBA90. So, that marketing advertising PEBA as a “fast printing” filament seems rather optimistic, to say the least. It’s somehow faster than the softer TPU/TPE but far from the normal speeds of rigid filaments.
Synbotron’s recommended max. volumetric flow of 7.2mm3/s corresponds aprox. to a speed of 80mm/s with a 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height.
You’re free to try as fast as that, but don’t be surprised if something goes wrong..
