MK4S Bed Warping
I have an MK4S that is about 6 months old.
It’s running Firmware version: 6.1.3
It is in a well-sealed enclosure.
I am having issues with the corners of my prints pealing/turning up. The last print is the largest one I have done, and the corners are also the worst.
I am printing with PLA using the generic settings in the Prusa Slicer (version 2.9.0).
Using a 0.4mm nozzle with a 0.20mm layer height.
Because I have had this problem before I print the first 5 layers at 40% speed to make sure I get good adhesions.
I don’t know at what layer it starts to loosen adhesion, but you can see the results.
I didn’t see any recent posts regarding this issue.
Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?
RE: MK4S Bed Warping
Using the PEI sheet for PLA will help. PLA doesn't stick particularly well to the satin or the textured sheet. Some glue stick and a brim can help, but you'll have much better results with the PEI sheet.
The ultimate root cause is unequal stress in your part design as it's printed. For example the areas with infill cool much faster than the solid infill areas, and the further you get away from the print bed the worse this gets. As the plastic cools it shrinks. Since the parts touching the heat bed are much warmer, they don't shrink as much and viola, your part warps and peels the corner off the bed. There's no magic solution, and I'm some respects it's the nature of the beast.
Square corners are the worst. If you can put a radii on the corner (you may or may not be able to), add a brim, and try the PEI sheet. Also protect the printer from drafts of you can.
Good luck.

Thank you for the information. I will try a PEI sheet with a brim and see how it works. It's a large print (about 24 hours) I'll post back with results then.
Again thanks.

Normally, you shouldn't get this kind of warping with PLA. It's the less troublesome filament in this regard. All the others (PETG, ASA,PC, PA.. ) are way worse. The filament in the picture is it, by any chance, Prusament PLA blend royal Blue ?. I noticed that all PLA blend filaments from Prusa are more prone to warp than any other PLA I tried.

Large rectangular objects are a bane. As Brian said, Mickey Mouse ears in the corner can help, or a brim around the whole object. I don't think I have a smooth sheet anymore, when I run into adhesion issues with a satin or textured sheet, I just put some Layerneer bed weld or Magigoo on, which (if necessary combined with a brim or ears) does the job most of the time.
