First layer resolution different from second layer when should be equal.
I'm printing a set of cards with an embedded figure. Both the first and second layers should draw the same thing, but analyzing what Prusaslicer is planning to do, I see that the first layer has less resolution than the second, which makes the final finish worse than if it applied the same resolution as the second layer. Is there any way to force the first layer to increase its resolution?I've attached images of the two layers where you can see the difference between them.
RE: First layer resolution different from second layer when should be equal.
Extrusion widths are often set different on the first layer compared to the others. Check your profile. Must be in advanced or expert for those settings.
Also first layers often have elephants foot applied which brings the perimeters in that can lead to less space so the path planning can be altered from that too. This is perfectly normal.
