Failed whistle - Filament layer squiggly / No bed adhesion
After hundreds of successful prints, my Original Prusa I3 MK3 had a failed print (lost bed adhesion, big clump of filament pushed around bed for a while).
I cleared the failed print, but next prints failed bed adhesion and filament profile went squiggly instead of smooth (see photo).
I tried:
-- cleaning the bed with alcohol wipes,
-- replacing the filament,
-- cleaning, then replacing the nozzle with a brand new one
-- adjusting z-height
-- adjusting head and bed temperatures,
-- resetting temps to factory std, and
-- full (re-)calibration wizard
With each attempted remedy, I tried a new print, but no joy.
See the attached picture of my latest attempt to print the Prusa whistle (demo STL). Not only is there no bed adhesion for the whistle, but even the little strip it prints at the front edge of the bed at the start of the print is squiggly, not smooth. I'm at a loss for what to try next. Suggestions?
