Can you print TPU over a PLA or PETG raft?

I am using a MK4S with MMU3 in enclosure. I want to print some TPU sleeves for some brackets. I wish to avoid using the MMU3 with TPU to avoid the risk of gumming the mmu up and all the maintenance it will then need. So I intended switching to no MMU mode and feed the TPU direct to the Nextruder manually. I thought I could make my life simpler by using a PLA raft to remove the TPU more easily but cannot see a way to do it. I know I can print the raft in PLA and then trigger a pause at the end of that layer so I can swap out the PLA with TPU (like doing a manual colour change) but that will still leave the printer using the PLA settings. Is there a way of getting it to switch to TPU settings at that pause. Can I do it by telling prusaslicer the printer has two extruders and telling it to switch extruders at that point??? (note if I do that by changing the printer settings in prusaslicer to two extruders and tick the single hotend box, The TPU profile is blocked).

Am I seeking the impossible here?
