X-Axis Clicking - Tension in x stepper motor causes clicking.

I upgraded my 3s to 4s back in May (bought kit from printedsolid) and it was printing just fine (and still kind of is). However on my last print, I stopped it midway because I kept hearing a clicking sound as the carriage is traversing the x-axis.

Things I tried:

• Loosening mounting screws & adjusting Tension - Still Clicks
• Loosening grub screws and resecuring the bore - Still Clicks
• Removing motor completely and spinning motor shaft freely by hand - No Clicks
• Reinstall motor - Still Clicks
• Loosen grub screws on gt2 bore so it can spin freely on motor (held motor shaft in place while pulley spinning) - No Clicks

I pulled the motor off one last time and applied slight pressure in a single direction and spun the shaft - Clicks. 

Would this mean I ended up with a bad motor?
