Nozzle clean failed, at start of print.

Background: Ive used an old Monoprice Wan Hao I3 clone for about 5 years. No auto levelling, or e-stop capabilites. only PLA used.

In late November, New Mk4S. Have the standard (Not hi flow) .4mm nozzle.

In use for a couple of months, a little PLA, mostly PETG.  Have been printing continuously PETG for at least two weeks, with no issues.

Yesterday, I began getting the nozzle cleaning failure error.  So, I unloaded the current filament, trimmed the end, and loaded it back.  Then, purged the filament, multiple times, till I get a wad of extruded filament roughly the size of a pidgeons egg below the nozzle, and I try printing the part I've printed sucessfully two times immediately prior, and I get the same error. I've brushed the nozzle tip with the brass brush.  Same thing.  redried the filament.  same result. I'm getting to the hair pulling stage, which, for me, is getting serious!

Ive also cleaned the print bed thoroughly, and re-magigloo'd, twice.

Any pointers, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, in advance.

Lou
