Prusaslicer does not have a printer entry for MK4S Input Shaper 0.4 nozzle
So after continually getting gcode not for this printer errors I looked at the gcode and see this line
M862.3 P "MK4" ; printer model check
But there is no such printer in the prusaslicer printer list
My printer is a MK4S with MMU3 turned off and input shaper turned on
Is there a way to setup Prusaslicer so that my printer is selectable?
RE: Prusaslicer does not have a printer entry for MK4S Input Shaper 0.4 nozzle
The mk4s profiles are all with IS, Prusa decided since they were not creating non IS versions there was no need to explicitly say they were IS
RE: Prusaslicer does not have a printer entry for MK4S Input Shaper 0.4 nozzle
Leaving us with the problem that the printer and prusaslicer cannot agree on the printer model
RE: Prusaslicer does not have a printer entry for MK4S Input Shaper 0.4 nozzle
Since the world and his bother are not reporting that specific problem, it indicates a user configuration problem
RE: Prusaslicer does not have a printer entry for MK4S Input Shaper 0.4 nozzle
I suspect so, but I'm not aware of any 'configuration' adjustments I can do on the printer other than what appears on the menus. SO likely I am missing something basic in Prusalslicer since I get the mismatch problem on both my MK4S and My MK3S
RE: Prusaslicer does not have a printer entry for MK4S Input Shaper 0.4 nozzle
The fact it is happening on two printers it is probable that the issue is with slicer. If I were you I would redownload and install the profiles and reselect the printer profiles. Then try a test print with a bog standard, out of the box printer profiles.

Sounds like a good plan, I shall do that!
RE: Prusaslicer does not have a printer entry for MK4S Input Shaper 0.4 nozzle
Oh and check the printers correctly know what they are, on the printers:
Settings / Hardware / Printer Type
RE: Prusaslicer does not have a printer entry for MK4S Input Shaper 0.4 nozzle
Here's what I see when I slice with the default Mk4S profile:
M17 ; enable steppers M862.1 P0.4 A0 F0 ; nozzle check M862.3 P "MK4S" ; printer model check M862.5 P2 ; g-code level check M862.6 P"Input shaper" ; FW feature check M115 U6.2.2+8853
I think it's time for you to update your slicer and profiles and/or reset them to current defaults.
