Please Add in Firmware: XY Homing while paused in print.

My mk4 fails so much that I don't like using it.
Here is the problem:
I am printing and the hotend "gets" off track. (muliple reasons why!)
What can I do?
I tried CNCKitchens make gcode to start a print where it failed. (thats not a good solution and it failed.)
Instead, I stopped using this printer as the MK3 is way more reliable.

While I wait for Crash Detection, can we have a firmware update:
Where I can go into settings and re-home the XY. So that the printer will contenue printing where it should be?
This is exactly what the MK3 does when it hits too many bumps.

I work in the room where I am printing and I can hear the crash. It would be nice to recover from a fail.
Thank you!!!

By getting "off track" do you mean layer shifts? If so, the main cause of layer shifts for me is poor bed adhesion. A bit doesn't stick to the bed, it hardens, the nozzle hits the hardened bit and moves sideways, creating the layer shift.

Its true,
Everyone can point the finger back at me and say, I am doing it all wrong and you are right, I probably am.
I print mostly with Overture PETG and bed adhesion isn't usally an issue. But for PC, it is an issue!
So, how do my prints get off?
Boogers: create little hills that the printer comes around, hits and then my X,Y is off.
Infill: sometimes doesn't stick as well as I would like, it gets hairy and throws off the steps, just enough to mess up the print.
Swelling: my office gets around 85F/30C and the filament can swell a tiny bit. The Z travel is bearly above the print. lots of things to hit.
Me: Sometimes I am trying to cut off junk while its running to prevent issues and the print head runs into my hand.
So many ways the MK4 can get off with its beautiful .9deg motors that are fragail to the touch.

I keep learning and trying to improve myself. I don't know, it would be nice when something happens to X,Y home the machine like the MK3. Maybe save a print from the trash bin. You know?
I also know this is a bandaid, because if the print gets a few layers up, its not going to work anyway. In the end I would love crash detection like the MK3, where it hits something, gets off, X,Y homes itself then keeps going. or tells the user HEY FIX THIS! But I print for work and I need to keep going... Thank you for the response.
