NEW Core One - USB DOES NOT WORK

very disappointed, need to vent, just received core one (may 20) , long time prusa customer and YouTuber, USB was extremely tight going in, too tight, it doesn't register the own USB drive not my Mk4, not any named PRUSA3D, can't use big beautifulnmachine. I Have not heard back from support. I'll prob get tariff bill soon. Thank God the lcd is easily replaceable. The video I will make about this experience is build modularity,. I will talk about is buying printers with replaceable parts like Prusa is absolutely imperative, but I am very disappointed in Prusa quality control/ checklist. They did not insert the main thing that stores the files using Prusa connect.

If you haven't already, be sure to try carefully unplugging the LCD cable from the back of the LCD, and carefully replugging it back in.

It's possible to plug in the cable such that the screen works, but the USB port does not.  I ran into this, as did others.

RE:

Thank you DS, this has been a time suck, and it was the issue but I did fix.  It could have been something else but watch video. It worked without the case and not with the case, all cables are secure both ways. I made a video.  This was not a fully assembled printer.  If I, as a Product Engineer, had this trouble, then a Mom buying the 1st printer for their daughter will be in trouble.  Still love Prusa. The machine is beautiful.

Video is Private - but I posted Fix on Reddit - The LCD Board assembly needs TLC

Prusa Engineers - here's the solution: include a longer ribbon cable and ship the LCD connected in the housing chamber folded up with USB inserted. Use a zip tie so the ribbon cable does not separate.

Fix - It was not the ribbon seating or the ground that needed to be secured perfectly per instructions; it was the case print design in the video I share. I opened LCD housing up, tried it without case, it all worked, then it did not work assembled, I shaved .5mm from a corner part near USB entry, that was postioning the board away from USB, reseated SB, left in, closed case it, worked., the case needs a design edit, or every case is 3D printed right, which has a +/- tolerance??)
