More of Stops Extruding Partway Through Print, but continues to run anyway....

Just recently, my Mk4s starts printing as normal but partway through the print the filament stops extruding.

This thread seems to have solved the problem by replacing the nextruder motor ( https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/english-forum-original-prusa-i3-mk4-general-discussion-announcements-and-releases/extrusion-stops-halfway-through-print/)

But I am hoping some one has a different solution as I cant wait for a replacement part to arrive.

I have replaced the hot end with a brand new one (heat block, nozzle, thermistor and heater). But that did not help.

Any other ideas?

If it helps, I checked when the fault happens and opened the idler door. The gear is still turning, so it cant be that the motor has stopped.

In fact, I even ran a print with the door open from the start. It didnt seem to need it closed as the filament was drawn through anyway. Until it stopped, partway through the print again.....
