High Flow Nozzle compatability

I have MK4, and frequently change nozzles to print with a different diameter.

Because of that I use the Nozzle adapter, and regular E3D nozzles. These are relative cheap. I have plenty of them.

If I would upgrade to MK4S or the Core one (which by default uses a HF nozzle) what would that mean for the print profiles.

I cannot see MK4S profiles without HF nozzle (Core one profiles not available at this time). How would I have to modify the HF profiles to enable regular nozzles?

RE: High Flow Nozzle compatability

The mk4s has profiles for standard and high flow nozzles in Prusaslicer.  I use my standard diamond tip nozzle in the mk4s.  Works great.  High flow nozzles are a choice.   You can do what you are doing with the mk4s.  Be warned though, the fan is in front and tends to be in the way if  you just unscrew the nozzle.  The fan doesn’t pivot out of the way.  On the core one the fan is in the back allowing better access.

You can indeed choose a "regular" nozzel for the MK4S, but -what I forgot to mention in the initial post- those profiles are all with input shaper.

I realy don't like input shaper. At least not on my MK4S. 95% of the IS prints failed.

So I'd like to have profiles without input shaper for regular nozzles.

Would such a thing even be possible on a MK4S / Core One?

I know i'd miss out on the speed, but I don't care about speed. I care about quality.
