Help Identifying This Print Issue? A Bit Stumped.
Good evening everyone, I hope you're all doing well!
I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to what may be causing the issue seen in these pictures (the dark, uneven lines)? I can't quite figure it out, and I'm not really sure what settings I should be looking at to start troubleshooting it. Also it's not the seams themselves that I'm worried about (I know seams are totally normal), it's the slight, sudden sort of shift of the layers about halfway up (you can see the shift (or whatever it is) on the right side of that last picture). Once that little shift happens, those darker lines/layers seem to end, so I'm just quite sure what's going on! If my seams look bad though, I'll happily take any advice on those as well! Printed with Prusament PLA on my MK4S. Happy to provide any additional info you may need as well.
I've also attached the project files here as well (as a .zip file). Octopus III.3mf
Any help and/or advice would be most appreciated! Thank you in advance.
RE: Help Identifying This Print Issue? A Bit Stumped.
For these type of prints, I'm using random seems. If I remember 😆 I believe, I'm seeing the tiny oscillations next to the seem too, I could see that being vibration caused by layer change? I need to check if they are at the end or start of the layer...
For the other shifts, that is in a over hang, isn't it? Maybe to hot or too little cooling? I'm also sometimes artifacts introduced internal structures, like holes or so.
Just curious, which PLA it is? Looks similar to PETG transparent blue, which is looking awesome.
