Friction from Filament reel interferes with Z calibration
I have an issue where the Z axis does not calibrate sometimes when I put a new full 1kg reel on.
The Z goes to around 100mm above the bed and starts trying a nozzle clean and fails. If I reel off some filament to remove pressure and try again, it works fine.
Is there a way to adjust the Load Cell limit for finding the bed to allow more pressure to overcome the resistance from the filament reel?
Or, any other workaround (grease onf the reel holder).
Is your spool holder worn or damaged causing it to hold the spool too hard?
Cheerio,

No, they are new
Do they turn easily? Freeing them, perhaps smoothing or lubrication should fix it.

Is the reel cardboard? If so, something like this helps. https://www.printables.com/model/241319-cardboard-spool-adapter
