Filament wrapped around Nextruder gear
I finished a print with TPU and when I asked for an unload I didn't think to put a little tension on the filament to assist it in coming up. As the gear turned clockwise the filament came out of the hot end and upward but before it completely exited the Nextruder it stuck to the gear and is now past top dead center. I cut the filament where it first enters into the top of the extruder and hit Load. After the hot end heated up the gear turned counter clockwise exposing a portion of the filament and then it wasn't able to go any further. There is still filament stuck on the far side of the gear.
Is there any way to resolve this short of removing the extruder and totally disassembling it?
RE: Filament wrapped around Nextruder gear
Simple answer: no.
I've just been thought exactly that.
