Filament twisting in extruder -- MK4S (upgraded MK4)
I print a lot of dual-color filament (different colors on opposite sides of the filament).
Before my MK4S upgrade, the filament fed consistently, giving me nice finished pieces that would change color as you turned them around.
After my MK4S upgrade, the extruder slowly twists the filament clockwise over the course of the print, delivering a striped look that's interesting but not what I want.
It seems to be getting worse. Today, I'm 3 hours into a 6 hour 45 minute print. My dual-color filament started out purple on the left and blue on the right. In the first 90 minutes, it spun the filament 180 degrees, reversing the colors. At the 3 hour mark, it spun another 180 degrees, so I'm back where I started.
I don't think it's a filament issue because the feed between the reel and extruder shows an obvious twist now. I saw the same twist with my single color filaments after the MK4S upgrade.
Anyone else had this issue?
