                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I see it as a fairly difficult problem without sensors e.g. camera. AI might do a "reasonably good job" at it in theory if the printer may borrow your graphics card. <br />Still, given the low probability of a blob-of-doom and high cost of false detection (failed print) it might do more harm than good in everyday work. I don't want to lose a print over every new non-critical irregularity I run into. That said, it may be possible to find a few meaningful thresholds, the real problem being you'd need to hire a few new guys in support for the "exceptions".</p>
<p>I see Prusa's overall direction selling "printers that are <em>not</em> trying to be smarter than the users". Other vendors see this as an opportunity - of course the feature exists on competing products with said AI/camera on a more modern hardware platform, higher integration level (using state-of-the-art but short-lived chips) etc. Whether any of those boxes will still be in operation five to ten years down the road, time will tell. </p>
<p>A more realistic route, make sure spaghetti-monster-meets-blob-of-doom incidents are prevented by other means - bed adhesion, control warping, understand your printer.</p>]]></content:encoded>

Or the tap sensor would show a constant detection.
